Susan is a former manager of the National Trust property Woolsthorpe Manor, the birthplace of Isaac Newton, working with the staff and volunteer team to welcome visitors and manage and develop the site including updating interpretation, offering an events programme including annual summer exhibitions, achieving Registered Museum status and developing an interactive Science Discovery Centre in a Grade II listed threshing barn.

Since moving to Staffordshire in 2009 she has worked on a range of heritage projects including museums exhibition and interpretation development and research for independent museums, public sector organisations and private clients.
